About the Topic
Renowned physician and author Dr. Kenneth Bock, MD, an expert on immune system health and integrative approaches to autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, asthma and allergies, is coming to Maplewood , NJ to conduct a lecture and conversation about these new childhood epidemics and new approaches to treatment. These “4-A Disorders”, as Dr. Bock calls them, have a great deal of overlap and constitute the new childhood epidemics. The statistics around the “4-A Disorders” are staggering. Over the past two decades, autism has increased 1500%, ADHD 500%, asthma 300% (with asthma deaths increasing by 56%) and allergies 700%. Dr. Bock will discuss the “4-A Disorders,” the links between them including genetic vulnerabilities and environmental factors, and an integrative approach to heal them.
